Overview

A multi-tenant SaaS that helps local businesses earn and showcase reviews the compliant way — automated email/text request campaigns, QR-code kits, AI-drafted replies with human approval, cross-platform monitoring, and an embeddable testimonial widget — fronted by a conversion-focused marketing site with transparent two-tier pricing.

Challenge

Review software is a crowded, slightly shady-feeling market. StarSpoken needed a product — and a marketing site — that did two things at once: make a multi-part SaaS easy to understand, and signal that it's the honest option, with no review gating and full FTC and Google compliance. The job was converting skeptical small-business owners while making compliance the selling point, not buried legalese.

Solution

A multi-tenant build on Next.js 16 with a Drizzle/Postgres backend — each business's data isolated on its own tenant, Neon in production. The public site leads with clarity: a four-step 'how it works', a features section covering campaigns, QR kits, AI-drafted replies and widgets, transparent two-tier pricing, and an FAQ that tackles compliance head-on. 'Five stars, earned honestly' runs through the whole thing.
